London Airport

Monday, June 27th, 2005

I just remembered a poem I read during my younger years at the British Council library entitled London Airport.  Its a very short poem and it has been stuck in my head for a very long time.  I felt a bit poetic now so I guess I will share it with you all.  I hope you like it as much as I have…

London Airport

Last night in London Airport
I saw a wooden bin
labelled UNWANTED LITERATURE
IS TO BE PLACED HEREIN.
So I wrote a poem
and popped it in.

Ferhad in IBMS College

Friday, June 24th, 2005

Ferhad just came to IBMS an hour ago.  They are doing the UVJ audition for Astro HITZ.TV.  At least half of the people here had no idea who Ferhad is. For those of you who were in that same boat, click here to learn more about Ferhad.

The funny thing was, when he walked in, first question he asked me after saying hi was… "Errr… can you show me to the nearest washroom?". Hahaha!  That caught me for a while as that is one thing I do not expect to be asked.  You can say that I went blank for at least THREE seconds!  What an embarrassment!  Well anyway, after he did what is necessary in the little boy’s room, he did his shooting for the TV show, talked to a few people, and off with the wind he went to Cats Radio for his interview.

All in all… did not get much out of this visit.  No autograph, no photos, and no free song.  However, I got an exclusive Astro HITS.TV landyard.  Now, that’s worth the time spent there… literally.

Friday, June 24th, 2005

Ty_dimsum_ayce_3This promotion came in from Hilton this morning and it look rather interesting. Dim Sum buffet!!!  Anyone wanna go with me?  When it comes to food… I’m in! (Except for vege. buffet…. that you can count me out… so very out!).  Wait… let me get my calculators out… … … … … OK got it.  Let’s punch in some numbers… RM28 x 1.15 = RM32.20.  Glup… Hmmmm….. after the calculation it seemes rather expensive already.  Oh well… might just end up in Hock Hai after all…  TTFN and TGIF!!!

Breathe

Wednesday, June 22nd, 2005

Was listening to my Yahoo! Radio and this song by Michael W. Smith came up. Its so meaningful and I am touched by it.  So here goes the lyric…

Breathe - Michael W. Smith

This is the air I breathe
This is the air I breathe
Your holy presence living in me

This is my daily bread
This is my daily bread
Your very word spoken to me

And I I’m desperate for you
And I I’m I’m lost without you

This is the air I breathe
This is the air I breathe
Your holy presence living in me

This is my daily bread
this is my daily bread
your very word spoken to me

And I’m, I’m desperate for you
And I’m, I’m lost without you

And I’m desperate for you
And I’m, I’m lost without you.

I’m lost without you.

I’m lost without you.

I’m desperate for you.

(Cry out to live)

I’m desperate for you..

I’m lost, I’m lost, I’m lost without you..
I’m lost without you

I’m desperate for you

(How many of you are hungry for God?)

(I want more of them. Who wants the floodgates to open up?)

Happy Birthday Baby!

Sunday, June 19th, 2005

MycarHahaha… its not my GF’s birthday, if that’s what is in your mind.  Actually… I am celebrating my little car’s 2nd birthday on June 18th.  On this very memorable day, I am sending her to the service centre for some fixing.  Maybe the "operation" will take a month or so.  Flashback: A few weeks back, my car got into an accident.  My car was so dented.  The motorcycle that crashed  into me is ok.  Dang!  The quality of Malaysian-made car.

Well anyway… on this 2nd birthday of my lovely baby, I am sending her to a spa treatment, manicure, paticure, tanning, hair-treatment, facial, etc etc… Hehehe! Hope you enjoy it baby!!!

Michael Jackson Not Guilty!

Monday, June 13th, 2005

MjWhen I woke up this morning and turned on my CNN, there was a breaking news.  I knew it has to be Michael Jackson’s trail reaching to an end.  I was just wondering how many, out of the ten charges, he was found guilty of.  But to me surprise, he was acquitted of all the charges.  Then I said to myself… "interesting… so there is justice in this world after all".  Well… some people will be happy, others might be dissapointed, but to me, I respect whatever the court’s decision is. Well I guess Jacko is not that Wacko after all. TTFN!
